About the Brussels Architecture Prize 2023
This prize was launched in 2021 as an initiative of the Brussels Capital Region and co-produced by Urban.Brussels and A+ Architecture in Belgium. This prize honours Brussels and its architects, those who make this city what it is today and generate innovative projects that have become sources of inspiration beyond the borders of the Region. This two-yearly prize was awarded for the first time in 2021 and crowned 7 projects and architectural firms.
The Brussels Architecture Prize rewards recent realizations by Belgian or foreign architects in Brussels and by Brussels offices in Flanders, Wallonia or abroad. Any architect with an architectural office in Brussels or the author of a building that contributes to the quality of the capital, completed between January 2020 and June 2023, can enter a submission. Both young and established architects can apply with small, innovative interventions and large, public interventions.
