Adaptability

This second debate, organised as part of the Brussels Architecture Prize, will look at the interweaving of programme and project typology.

51N4E, AAC ARCHITECTURE + A2O, AGWA, &BOGDAN, CHANCEL + FRICK-CLOUPET, LABEL ARCHITECTURE, NOAARCHITECTEN will be taking part in this discussion moderated by Lisa De Visscher, artistic director and editor-in-chief of A+ Architecture in Belgium.

The adaptability of a building is one of the characteristics of sustainable, forward-looking architecture.  It also offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, evolving architectural history that respects a pre-existing architectural language.

The Brussels Architecture Prize is an initiative of the Brussels-Capital Region that is implemented by Urban in co-production with A+ Architecture in Belgium. A cycle of 4 debates, produced in collaboration with CIVA, invites speakers to express their views on a specific theme through their architectural practice. “ADAPTABILITY” is the second debate in the series.
