(Re)densification

The projects by BUUR PART OF SWECO, GEURST & SCHULZE + JAVA ARCHITECTEN, HÉ! ARCHITECTEN, LHOAS & LHOAS, MSA – NEY & PARTNERS, URA YVES MALYSSE KIKI VERBEECK and VERS.A, shortlisted for the Brussels Architecture Prize, are set in a dense urban context. During this debate, the invited architects will discuss the challenges of building in a city where the compactness of new buildings and densification while preserving green and accessible spaces are major challenges

The Brussels Architecture Prize is an initiative of the Brussels-Capital Region supported by Urban in co-production with A+ Architecture in Belgium. A cycle of 4 debates, produced in collaboration with CIVA, invites speakers to express their views on a specific theme through their architectural practice. “(RE)DENSIFICATION” is the third debate in the series.
